Button Earrings in Gold with Vintage Cobalt Bottle Glass

Vintage glass is hand-cut into round "gemstones" and softly etched for a glowing, matte, beach glass finish. Available in a variety of colors, the rich, blue glass in this pair of earrings is cut from an antique cobalt bottle. Reclaimed glass is cut by hand — cold-worked with lapidary equipment. Earring settings are fabricated in recycled sterling and fine silver, then vermeil plated with a heavy layer of 18K gold.
