Charles Wakefield
Landscape Paintings by Artist. Paints the Canadian Landscape both in the country and the city. Works on location (au Plein Air) and in studio. The artist studied fine arts, drawing and painting at Ontario College of Art part-time over a 9 year period while working as an environmental scientist (hydrogeologist). His themes include the transformation of Cityscapes and the natural environment. A keen sailor, he loves to paint the water, particularly the Toronto Waterfront and northern lakes and wetlands.
