Like pearls dancing on ocean waves, islands should float.
This mixed media piece features my original photography mounted in a 2" deep handmade white shadow box frame. I paint with translucent india ink and water on the inside of the glass. When the light illuminates the piece, a layer of coloured reflection is revealed.

I believe it is in our nature to keep a record of what we have done, where we have been and what we have seen. As an observer, I am drawn to forms in nature and the figure within that space. These are often the subjects of my photographic work.
