Natalie is a Professional Painter and Multimedia Creative in Toronto. She draws inspiration from her background in Earth & Environmental Sciences from McMaster University, Fine Arts from Centennial College and her professional experience in graphic design. Her appreciation for the sciences, especially biology and geology can be found her unique style. Natalie’s biomorphic art has been featured in a myriad of venues such as the TTC Life on the Line Mental Health Campaign, North Carolina State University, Toronto Maker Festival, and the Artist Network Gallery.

About My Work
Each piece of my artworks originates from automatism, a surrealistic drawing technique that explores subconscious creation. The process involves intuition, spontaneity and no expectations of outcome and at times resulting in absolutely bizarre imagery! I then design three-dimensional paintings out of the graphics. My style is shaped by my studies in traditional fine art, science, design and surrealism. The meaning behind my art is to embody complete creative freedom and to appreciate the diversity of our unique perspectives.
