Description
I could tell you I was stoned out of my mind when I painted this. But of course that was not the case. My friend was instructing me in her pouring process so I went along for the ride. Apprehensive. I wanted more control. Especially I wanted to control the colour. We left it overnight to settle and dry. I was both shocked and so delighted what had happened to my image overnight...and laughed at my notion of "control." The image had done a complete 180 overnight and this is the result. I am inclined to think about Captain Ahab.
