Description
Painted in my studio over Christmas holidays while the blizzards whipped around outside and our city ground to a halt. This piece gives off warmth and sensuality: I can almost smell the coconut oil. There are some beautiful brushstrokes within that I cherish. Most special...and a twist...was a visitor's reaction recently. The piece reminded her of her indigenous culture and their celebration of the salmon spawning.

I reside in beautiful Riverdale, Toronto, and paint full time now in my nearby studio. Am an avid reader, gardener, and a creative junkie. Professionally, I have always been drawn to both design and colour composition. Painting is my most rewarding outlet that allows me to imaginatively explore this. I am somewhere between an emerging and intermediate artist, heading toward abstract expressionism.
