Viking Sword- Handcrafted from solid American Hickory and Specialty Wood Pommel

Handmade wooden sparring Viking sword with Specialty wood pommel. Our Viking swords are inspired by those typical of Vikings from about the 8th to 11th centuries. It will serve you well in battle and with your comrades behind the shield wall. Fullers are carved down the center of the blade, which combined with the counter balance of the pommel, makes a fierce weapon. We have the option of single fullers or double fullers. We will make the pommel in your choice of specialty wood. Please message us to find out what is currently available. A Hollow Earth sword has weight and balance that closely approximates a metal sword. They are ideal for full-contact sparring, staged combat, teaching, learning, and practicing swordsmanship. Each contour of our swords is individually shaped and sanded by the sword smith to create it’s unique form. This devotion to detail results in a superior grip, heft, and balance. This is beautiful, functional, art you can fight with. SPECS: The overall length of our Viking Sword ranges between 36 inches to 40 inches. Pommels average between 2 1/2 inches by 2 inches. CARE : Each sword is treated with a special, non-toxic, sword salve that is handcrafted in our shop. This protects the sword from weather and prolongs the life of your sword. Upon receiving your sword, it is a good idea to use a soft cloth to buff the wax into the wood.
