I can imagine so many characters wearing this steampunk-inspired hat! It's a Spanish-style short-crowned hat with a wide brim in faux-suede. I named it "Cross Words" because of the crossed typewriter keys on the front. It also has parts from an old sewing machine, two old watches, gears, a volt meter, and turkey feathers.

As artists we are drawn to Steampunk because of its basis on an appreciation for reclaiming something old and making it new again, for cherishing the long-lasting and well-made. It revels in a sense of history, of having been somewhere. Steampunk wears its history on the outside, and we share that.
