A lovely single bearded Iris bloom! In ancient Greek mythology, Iris was the goddess of the rainbow and a messenger for Zeus and Hera, and many believe that the flower is named after her. She carried messages from heaven to earth on the arc of the rainbow. Blue Iris also symbolize faith and hope!
This lovely flower is a print reproduction of my original watercolor painting titled "Iris You Were Here". It is printed on Moab fine art paper, an acid-free, archival quality paper noted it for its high quality. The print measures 8.5" x 11" and includes an acid-free mat in your choice of white or black.
