Description
This stunning, one-of-a-kind statement necklace began with a large, double-link brass chain. 100% linen thread in a deep taupe gray was crocheted into and around the chain links, and shimmering, faceted, fire-polished glass beads in an iridescent, smoky amethyst were added along the edge. Small silver accent beads were also added to accentuate the larger fire-polished beads. A loop and ornate antique brass filigree button function as the clasp.
The necklace is about 23 inches long and about 3/4 inches wide, excluding the beads along the edge. At its widest, including the beaded edge, it is 1 1/2 inches wide.

Gossamer Tangles is an outgrowth of my life-long love of crochet and needle arts. The jewelry I design and make is one-of-a-kind. I find that conceiving a design in my mind and then bringing it to life between my fingers, instills a remarkable mix of wonder, excitement and satisfaction.
