Description
Using hand-dyed cotton thread in colors of charcoal and slate gray, with hints of teal and magenta, I crocheted petals around metal focals that feature a flower in the center. I then edged the petals with additional crochet stitches in a very fine, silver metallic thread. An open work, silver hummingbird charm dangles from each flower.
Silver, nickel-free earring wires.
Flowers are about 1 3/8 inches in diameter and earrings are 2 3/8 inches long, measuring from the top of the earring wire to the bottom of the humming bird dangle.

Gossamer Tangles is an outgrowth of my life-long love of crochet and needle arts. The jewelry I design and make is one-of-a-kind. I find that conceiving a design in my mind and then bringing it to life between my fingers, instills a remarkable mix of wonder, excitement and satisfaction.
