Description
I created this gorgeous statement necklace in the beautiful color of raven wings - inky black, highlighted with iridescent blues and greens. The focal point of the necklace is a Green Girl, artisan-made raven pendant. The necklace was made by crocheting black recycled sari silk ribbon into a substantial silver metal chain, and then embellishing with hand-dyed cotton thread and sparkling glass beads. The necklace closes with a decorative, antique silver hook and eye clasp.
The necklace is about 20 inches long. The raven pendant is 1 1/4 inches in diameter, and with the glass leaf beads, hangs about 2 1/4 inches from the necklace. The ribbon/chain part of the necklace is about 1 inch wide.
