Description
Many years ago, too many to count, I fell in love with the Arkansas Ozarks. Rough and tumble hills, deep valleys, mystical caves and above all else, beautiful clear running streams. One of my favorite places to explore was Richland Creek which flows into what is now the Buffalo National Scenic River. Miles from nowhere, and big enough to flow all year, I would have this place to myself for days with out seeing another soul. This monochrome painting is based on one of the black & white photographs I created in the late 1960's.
