Description
I crocheted this fun and fabulous flower brooch using a textural cotton/linen/rayon blend yarn in a gorgeous shade of mauve/deep rose. The center is crocheted with a very thin guage natural copper wire embellished with tiny iridescent glass mauve seed beads. Looks lovely on a jacket or coat, or used to perk up your scarf, shawl, or bag!
The flower is 5 inches in diameter. Pure wool felt was hand-sewn to the back of the flower with a decorative whipstitch using coordinating embroidery thread. The silver tone pin back is 1 1/2 inches long.

Gossamer Tangles is an outgrowth of my life-long love of crochet and needle arts. The jewelry I design and make is one-of-a-kind. I find that conceiving a design in my mind and then bringing it to life between my fingers, instills a remarkable mix of wonder, excitement and satisfaction.
Color, texture and imagination, often inspired by my observations of the natural world and works of art, are the key components in my creations.
