I crocheted this delicate, flower-strewn necklace using silk/stainless steel fiber in deep sky blue. The tiny steel thread that runs through this fiber gives the flowers body and provides integrity to the petals. Iridescent blue violet glass delica beads are worked into the chain stitches between the flowers. This necklace has a beautifully ethereal quality. An antique silver plated hook and eye clasp closes this one-of-a-kind necklace.

Gossamer Tangles is an outgrowth of my life-long love of crochet and needle arts. The jewelry I design and make is one-of-a-kind. I find that conceiving a design in my mind and then bringing it to life between my fingers, instills a remarkable mix of wonder, excitement and satisfaction.
Color, texture and imagination, often inspired by my observations of the natural world and works of art, are the key components in my creations.
