Insect dreams

For my pieces that are derived from photographs, most of the shots are my own. This is usually necessary because I need very specific formatting, composition, tonal contrast, etc. for these pieces to work. However, every once in a while I see a shot that someone else has taken that I know will work. This is one of those times. I am calling this an "Artist's Proof", as I wanted to test out a new layering technique (successfully), so it is at a reduced price. Watch for the full treatment in the coming days.
