SUBMISSION GUIDELINES:
All submissions will receive email confirmation from Eventeny. If you do not receive a confirmation within 2 business days, please contact madeline@mariettacobbartmuseum.org.
All images must be submitted in JPG or PNG format.
Eligible media includes, but is not limited to, oil, acrylic, watercolor, pastel, ink, pencil, mixed media, collage, printmaking, photography, sculpture, pottery, mosaic, and fiber. Giclées and video/sound art are not eligible.
Installations must be approved prior to submission deadline, as they are subject to denial based on size and manner of installing. Substitute submissions may be necessary.
Only one digital image may be submitted for each 2-D work. 3-D artists may submit an additional image for each piece submitted.
Submissions are considered incomplete until all fees, forms and images are received by MCMA on or before the deadline.
CONDITIONS & REQUIREMENTS:
All submitted pieces must be original artwork that was completed within the last ten years, and has not been previously shown at MCMA in any capacity.
Submitted artwork may not have a height, width, or depth exceeding 80 inches.
Accepted artwork must be appropriately framed and ready to hang upon delivery. All works must have securely fastened hanging wire using D rings. No saw tooth hangers are permitted.
If unframed, paintings on canvas must be gallery-wrapped and have painted sides.
Images submitted are to be un-enhanced, un-manipulated, and in high resolution; any accepted art that is altered or different in any way from the image submission may be disqualified at time of delivery.
Photography submissions must be one of a limited edition and not showing elsewhere during Metro Montage. No photography printed on canvas.
MCMA retains 40% commission of any works sold during this exhibition.
MCMA will be given consent to use submitted images for any future promotional purposes.
